Dr. Leslie Suen and Dr. Alicia Fernandez receive 2025 Department of Medicine Faculty Awards!

This May, the UCSF Department of Medicine announced its esteemed recipients of the 2025 Department of Medicine Faculty and Fellow Awards. The awards acknowledge the extraordinary contributions and dedication of colleagues in various areas of the department—two of whom are ARC Faculty members!

ARC Mentored Faculty member and Assistant Professor in Residence, Leslie Suen, MD, MAS, earned the Outstanding Early Career Investigator Award, while Alicia Fernandez, MD, ARC Core Faculty member and Professor of Medicine, earned the department’s Mentoring Award.

Awardees were lauded for their remarkable achievements at the 2025 ZSFG Department of Medicine Faculty and Fellow Award celebration on May 20.
