Dr. Rebecca Sudore Earns 2025 Founders Day Award!
Rebecca Sudore, MD, Professor of Medicine and ARC Core Faculty member, is the recipient of a 2025 Founders Day Award. Through the award, UCSF salutes the exemplary service of faculty, staff, and learners to the university and our community at large as they work to advance health worldwide.
Through her public service, Dr. Sudore is revered for her steadfast support of helping patients who have trouble understanding lengthy medical forms. Her goal is to empower every person to have a voice in their health care, no matter their native language or education level.
“This year’s Founders Day Award recipients have made remarkable contributions that enrich our community and are integral to the fabric and mission of UCSF,” writes Sam Hawgood, MBBS, UCSF Chancellor and Arthur and Toni Rembe Rock Distinguished Professor.
